thats amazing but £2500 no chance. such a shame the albinos are so much i think they look amazing but i think ill have to go for a corn snake. i like the pure white albino ones rather than the ones that have the pink spots on them.
i might try to make the hole stand tank and lid of them because i can really find any good ones on ebay. so might ask if while im doing my 50 days work experiance if i can make them because he shuld be able to get the wood and glass or perxpex for cheaper and he has al the tools and space to make it.

When making a hood you have to be really careful in your designs. Snakes can fit through tiny gaps but also must have a good amount of ventallation to stop any respiratory infections!

Well you can't use the cute and cuddly tact, maybe tell her that it is a larger responsibility, and you want to practice being a responsible person, so when you are older and out of the house, you will have a clearer understanding of what taking taking care of responsibilities entails, also, it will keep you out of trouble? Thanks, I tought it was a mouse, but had never seen a newborn before. Awesome pics Netty!

Re: 30G
You could just buy the pinkie and feed on the day you get it. Then you wouldn't need to put in the freezer.
Oh and I agree as a Mum I would make you clean up and make your bed too. Would prove to me how much you wanted one
Thanks Sheena....it is a bit of a zoo here but love looking after them all

Re: 30G
yh but my mum dont drive and the lfs i can get them from is about a 20min drive so i would need to get a load and then go back once there done. my mate has a small corn and he just buys about 20 at a time for £8 and freezes them so they last for about 5 months

Re: 30G
I have to agree with Netty, the nicer you are to mum and the more you do things that should be done without being asked, the more likely it will be that she will let you have one or be more willing to think about it at least.

It would probably keep the pinky fresh for a max of 2 days but no longer than that.

Re: 30G
Thanks Netty! Maybe if you asked your mom if the 'food' was wrapped up tight in brown paper after freezer wrap and only in a small section of the freezer would it be ok?

Re: 30G
I suppose the alternative would be some sort of geckos then but would she be ok with mealworms, crickets or locusts?

Re: 30G
Wish I could help, could you fit them in the tub with the worms? You mom has reasons that she thinks are health issues and that, in all I know, means unless you can get some really good people like netty and van to personalyy defend and show actual proof, and unless it can be promised that your little bro won't get bitten,(Almost impossible, he'll want to squeal and put his hand in right away, 5 yr olds don't quite understand slow) you should look into the gecko theme.
