This filter?
For my 60L I'm currently running a fluval2+ with a homemade spraybar attachment. I know this is overkill, the filter came with the tank =/ the spraybar also leaves a lot to be desired, the filter is also super bulky. So I'm thinking, could I possibly switch out to [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] ? Would try and make a spray bar attachment. It says it's for up to 50l with 300l turnover, so underkill, but for 2/3 bettas would this be okay? (I'm still undecided as to whether I'll shift the dividers over and just have 2 bigger sections and a filter/heater section
Thanks guys any advice is loved!

Re: This filter?
I suppose that would be fine as bettas dont produce much waste.
But the filter you have, i have that too but in the INTERPET make and its fine, i dont have a spray bar attachment (failed miserably at making one) and the water flow is fine. Well atm, i dont have a betta in the filter and heater section.
IMO, if you really want to get one then go ahead, but i personally dont think you will need another one.
Hope that helps

Mmm the spray bar was a total ***** to make, as the output isn't round. Without a spray bar, doesn't that make water circulation across the dividers difficult? My other option would be to remove the spray bar, keep the same filter and put it in a section at one end with the heater, turned round so it doesn't take up so much space (Can't have it that way atm because of the spraybar), but I worry that the water wouldn't circulate well enough and there wouldn't be anything 'rippling' the top of the water so it wouldn't be as well oxygenated?

It should be fine. Put a thermometer on the other end of the tank, and see if the heated water is distibuted enough, if so, then the water circulation is fine

Cool, thanks, I'm shopping tomorrow so might pick up the filter then, and then I'll be moving things around at the weekend and see how it goes :D

I have a fluval 2 plus for my 14g and use tubing to circulate the water from the other end, the bettas arent affected at all, just to throw in! Best of luck with your decisions and decorating xx

Hiya
With a tank divided into 3, not using some kind of bar will mean the circulation is poor:( Instead of a spray bar, try using a length of tubing with some filter sponge pushed in the end the opposite end to the filter:)
