popped into my lfs about ten minutes before they closed. They had most of the bettas they had last week still all looked ok. Then I spotted a red one with chewed fins, he let me have it for £2. Someone had brought it back today it had been in a community tank and had been picked on. It is currently in my goldfish cleaning out tank with water that I keep conditioned but I have had to put it in the front room on the fireplace got nowhere else to keep it. I do need to get my tanks more organised. Put a smidge of salt in the water. Might try to take a photo later...cross your fingers please

have you got a mature filter to go on with the fish or are you going filterless with daily changes ?

you shouldnt need to remove the goldfish to clean them hun the filter should do most of it and they'll be fine with a water change

filterless will do part water change. the tank I have got him in is more of a qt tank but I am trying to buy no more goldfish as the ones I have are established and i dont want to add any more. I get them reduced cos I spend a lot of money in this one shop. The other day I was in an aquatic centre telling them about different types of bettas you can get and they didnt charge me for my live food they said I could have it.... 🤣
