Our Sample Tank P1090618

This is our Evo 100, fully planted as you can see LOL. I use to to test out species that come in. The tank has 2 x 45w T5 and thats its. no ferts, no C02, nothing!!. Tiger platy are crossing very nicely with some moon platy in there at the moment. If a customer doesnt know what a plant will look like then I show them this tank. It hasnt had a water change for about 6 weeks now but getting one today to reduce nitrates right down to continue bring out the reds in some of the species in there.

WOW That really is eyepopping, especially considering you are not adding anything, that is brilliant! The platys sound an interesting mix Smile

I was gunna add ferts but I decided not too as I wanted to see how they grew with nothing. The amount of fish in the tank is perfect and the plants aid will water quality so its a great mix, theres no bottom dwellers in there but the gravel in really clear as waste produced is very low. It wont last long though as the platy are breeding. Not one single plant has been demolished in this tank but I gotta admit it does need a bit of a clean LOL, the good thing about this is that there is also no algae at all in the tank anywhere apart from the odd stray hair algae that appeared the other day.
