right ive got a 3ft tank that i wanna divide into 6 but there is the glass brace bars around the top edge of the tank. would it be alright to remove them or is it easier to make the dividers fit round them

Hi
If you mean the two bits of glass that run a couple of inches down from the lip on the front and back, then yeh they can be removed. They are just for holding a condensation tray.
Be really really reallllllyyyyyy careful though, as its so easy to crack the tank.

kool when i get the tank sorted they will be off then, then will have to sort summat out for the hood lol. its never easy is it

Why not keep them in, get 2 pieces of glass cut to fit onto them and have a sliding lid:) Have them so they overlap in the middle by an inch or 2. Then have an overhead light :D

If you do, get the glass edges polished thumbup
