Dwarf Puffers! Empty Dwarf Puffers!

Post by lilacamy931 Thu 23 Jul 2009 - 20:35

I am sorry I love to post pics so forgive me upfront Wink I have 3 dwarf puffers and boy have I had times with them. I did have four but one passed away last week as she got an airbubble trapped and no amount of me trying to get it out could rescue her. I have one female Piggy with a male, miniman and a manic depressive one called mainman. Piggy managed to knock herself out on a bit of wood in the tank, miniman is a schizo and manman as mentioned has the worst mood swings on the planet bless him. They are my blimp zipping peas and love them lots. I will only post pics of Piggy as she like my betta poses and the others hate the camera monster.

Will also be getting 2 Green spotted puffers at the end of August so watch this space!

Awww they are gorgeous....sound like a right handful too. I had some a while ago but unfortunately we had a ph crash and I lost them all. Did manage to get some great pics of them though. They were so much fun!!! Maybe one day I'll try again :D

I love puffers!!!! We had two figure 8 puffers but had to rehome them as they started getting nasty. My lfs had a beautiful but very large mbu, i used to pet him through the glass, he was like a puppy! I'd love some puffers again but all my tanks are taken up with bettas!

Yours look so cute!

LOL thanks! I cant wait to get the GSPs (green spotted puffers) their tank was the first I bought months ago but most of the pieces getting for my birthday. So in the meantime of course stocked up on other tanks!

Aw sorry to hear about the DPs and the PH crash Netty, definately get them again, they are such characters mine just seek attention all the time!

And sorry to hear you had to rehome the F8s crystal. That must have been really hard. Sad

My dream eventual puff will be a porcupine Wink (p.s. puffs are the fish thatgot me into fishkeeping and bettas are the ones that have made me drool constantly!)

Great pics! I wish ours would stay still long enough... We have 5 (Pugh, Pugh, Cuthbert, Dibble and Grub) in with a bristlenose and they are amazing.

I really dont know what it was.
I had one a few years ago. I went away for a week and put one of those floating vacation sticks in so he didnt starve. After a week got home and his tank was so cloudy and when he saw me he was at the front of the tank and if looks could kill I would have been a goner. I went to work one morning came home for lunch and he was dead. One was a figure 8 and one a gsp....
