Red Cherry Shrimp - basics? Empty Red Cherry Shrimp - basics?

Post by lilacamy931 Fri 14 Aug 2009 - 18:20

Hey guys on another forum there is a deal on red cherry shrimps 20 for £7 which I believe is a good deal?

How are these guys for tank dimensions, species only what would be best to look at?

I know I ask lots of questions! Sorry! lol

p.s. how do they do with bettas generally (depending on personality?).

:Embarassed: Sorry missed the sticky going to read now! Two secs Wink

Right had a read thanks for that pippoodle! So can try with the bettas then just may end badly may not! LOL

OR I can finally use that 2.5 gallon, or maybe split the shrimps amongst the tanks and see how they get on. The choices are small 2.5g thought temp may be difficult on that small a tank and would prob need to get small filter for it, or just try with each of the bettas and see how they get on! One thing do they mind particular substrate (I always ask this I know!).

Oh Daz, will have words when come tomorrow or Sunday though if we could half that for 10 to start be great Wink Havent had shrimps before and if they get overgrown there are the puffs (yep I am a meanie).

So some algae pellets or shrimp thingies and cover and well away me hopes Wink

I think they were that price! I know the shrimps are all round that price for the freshwaters even for glass shrimps an such, when you look though theyve been eaten, empty cases or the usual what disease comes with them free! lol

OH NO! Poor shrimplets, babes ok though?
