Hubby just bought me a stunning black/copper crowntail on ebay! I don't usually go for crowntails but he was so beautiful I couldn't resist! I just hope he arrives safely, I do get nervous about them coming in the post!

I've just found out he'll be arriving on Tuesday. :D

And because you can never have too many bettas and I *did* have the space... I ended up buying a solid red veiltail from my lfs today too!

I think I've exceeded my fish budget for the year...

They are usually the ones that become extra special and blossom into gorgeous Bettas. He's obviously very happy in his home with you thumbup

Had a bit of a O.o moment today... the seller accidentally sent me three assassin snails that shoud have gone to another customer! Was worried my fish would go to someone else, but luckily he was very nice and I get snails and fish!

He's here!!! He actually arrived yesterday (at 7.45am O.O) but I wanted to give him settling in time. Smile

He's beautiful... I wasn't sure what his colour was going to be like - in the pic he looked black, but was described as copper. He actually seems to change with the light! I'll try to get pics later. Smile

This isn't a great pic, but it's the best I've managed so far. He is *such* a character, he likes to sit in the pots, with his tail hanging out one end and his head out the other!

This is a better one, although I didn't notice just how badly I need to clean the outside of the tank. lol.

I swear, I have NO IDEA what colour this fish is! last night he looked blue! Love him though. He'll get a name when I've had him a week.
