yes! the thing is that the cost of raising any home bred fry has to be taken into consideration as well. Even at £5 each I'm not really covering these costs as it depends on how many fry survive to adulthood. The imported ones are also at a price which is less than what I actually paid for them so I cant drop the prices any more unless they are old fish or do up to standard. There is the odd one at a higher price which is a fair price for the quality.

I can confirm that there is little or no profit in home breeding lol Its nice when you get to sell some, but when you take into consideration things like electricity, food, fuel (to get the food) etc etc....you find you haven't actually made a penny:) Thats ok for the hobbiest like us, but to a business it could be make or break.

for members who would like to know the postage price on multiple purchases off my website please add the bettas to basket, go to view the basket and select "betta postage only" this will give you the postage value. You are not commiting to buying the bettas until you have confirmed the order via the terms and conditions.

ohhhh Daz! If you get any white CTs, purple coppers etc I would love you forever, have a 5g empty and ready for a new betta (was going to shop this weekend for one) but see the website is updating and cant wait for more new stock!!
