Well I dropped Joshie off at my mum's and swapped cars so I had the little yaris rather than my diesel guzzler so rather than coming straight home and just sitting in the house or even tidying up affraid affraid I decided to have a little trip out!!!

I ended up at my LFS wandering round with my purse in my bag!!! Hmm whats a girl to do!!

I am now the proud owner of 10 little fishies!! I just couldn't resist they are so tiny and sweet looking!!! heehee! I have joined the girlie crew!!! sunny

By being very patient and having spare batteries to hand lol. I've worn many camera batteries out sitting waiting for one of the little 'darlings' to stay still for one second...

Very dumb questions but how long doe stress stripes take to go? because except one who is already a pinky colour they have lost there colour with major stress stripes!!! Sad sunny

Depends very much on each fish. Some will colour back up within a few hours, others can take days and some will always show them at times.

well a few are still stressed and cant get a single good pic just getting blurs! gonna get Steve's camera some batteries cos I think thats better!! I think I've got a few CT's and the others I am presuming are VT's!! got one light pink girl who is called Candy now cos my mate named her. plus got a purple on and a few blues think some are cambos!!
want to get pics cos they are gorgeous!! I'm loving them already even though have never been a big fan of females before I think I'm converted!! sunny

Well I am slightly worried as there are a few bubbles in the tank so I am hoping to god that I dont have a boy mixed in there!! I'm still trying to get pics have only managed to get one slightly good one so far! am still trying I think I need to get a new camera! What cameras do you guys use??? sunny

So far we've had no fights or bullying so fingers crossed. Although we have had a few bubbles silent I think they are only young because the are small only about the size of the last digit of my thumb Though that could be normal for girls I've never had them before!! sunny

Hmmm......difficult to tell whether male or female??? There's more female traits showing at the moment than male, but that can change lol

They all look very girly to me. Distinct ovipositors and the pointed body shape. Usually on males you see a little of the gill beard poking our from under the gill flaps even when not flaring, and this does not seem evident in any pictures.

well they are all very young I can at least tell that! some are tiny!! Have just sat and taken 270 pictures so may have some good ones of them all rather than the couple I have there!! WARNING pic spam could be coming!!

However it could be one pic out of 270! 🤣

There are definately some bubbles round the edges of the tank so unless girls blow bubbles there is a rogue boy somewhere!!! sunny
