I'd advertised in quite a few places to see if anyone nearby was breeding, simply because it's so expensive to buy imports and things in. I got a reply last night, from someone about 40 mins or so away from me, who has HMPK BF's :Love:
Now he said
Lavender? Salamander?
Trying to figure out the colouration from that description, those are the only two I can think of.

It colouring could be anything really? The only way to know is pop along and take a look, or get some piccies emailed over:)
If they are only young colours can change and white edges dont always mean butterfly as new growth can appear as white too. If you can, take at look at the parents he used that way it may give you a better indication of the likelyhood of HM and BF:)

Not heard of that name before. The person we're thinking of is called Mark (BlueBetta) I think he recently started back up with breeding.

Well, from posts, can't see anything from him betta-wise but seems he keeps a lot of apitsogramma species. Has a fish house.. and that's all I know.

Because, he's not been around lately and as i am no longer on the forum in question he didnt jump to mind until you posted today :D I dont even know if he's still breeding though

I need help sexing LOL. There are two that are absolute BRUTES of girls. I mean, they are huge. Seriously huge. Mixture of colours, some BF some not. Some pink, some lavender, some sky blue, some cambo. Will get pics soon, think I'll have to stick them all in my baby containers to try and sex them.
