Well, if you really like him then take a chance and see if he's there before you leave for home. They dont know the answers to your questions because they probably get their stock through a large supplier, so have no idea where it came from or the exact age.

Il need to get him before closing time tonight as they dont open tomorrow its only a small shop. Setting off home tomorrow early anyway, will just have to see.

I went back today and he'd gone, i was a little upset 
but id looked on ebay this morning to see what they had and i saw one that i really liked 
So gorgeous can imagine him swimming about in the tank iv prepared for him back home 
He's a Rosetail halfmoon and he's red and blue. So iv just bought him...so excited 
Il try and get pics so you can all see
