How to post Pictures Empty How to post Pictures

Post by Vandraco aka Bronzecat Sun 28 Mar 2010 - 16:54

Hi
I've noticed that there appears to be some confusion over how to post pictures directly into posts so I'll try and explian a couple of ways to do it.

Using the direct "Servimg" facility -

This facility allows you to upload a picture directly from your pc.
Once you are into "post a new topic" you will see a row of functions above the text/reply box. The 15th box along is the "Host an Image" function. Click that and you will get a pop-up box.
Click "Browse" and Double click the picture you want to host.
Then click "Host it"
Then copy the "IMG" code.
Click the original function box again (the 15th one along) and the pop-up will disappear.
Paste the copied code into your post Very Happy

Using Photobucket -

In your photobucket just copy the "IMG code" which is the bottom of the 4 codes under the picture you want. Simply paste this code into your post Very Happy I dont use Image shack myself, but would assume it is the same for there.

Hope this helps thumbup

I notice that with that one, so when I click the copy butoon, I then hit the ctrl button(bottom left on computer) and while holding it hit c, click off the button then ctrl and v the same way. Very Happy I don't use photobucket yet, but it seems that might be easier for most people! thumbup
