Oh, I completely forgot they were both anabantoids! lol
Ya, the babies didn't make it, (not that I know of) but the dad is building another bubblenest in the 20 gallon community tank, and the female still looks interested, she keeps going under the nest, I dunno, I'll just let them do what they want, I'm more into livebearers, less complicated,.. lol

Hiya
I would seriously advise you not to let them attempt spawning again. The reason i say this is because spawning puts both the male and female under a lot of stress. Allowing them to spawn again so soon can be very bad for their health. Females have been known to die after spawning even in the best of conditions. We have also had a male suddenly die after being taken away from the eggs.
Even if you can only put the male in a breeding trap it would help :D
Can i just reiterate what another member has said to you, no one has been complaining to you, but they have been giving you their honest advice :D
