Bruno not eating. Empty Bruno not eating.

Ello, I tried to feed Bruno this morning and he just left it, then I came back from school and tried to feed him and he ate 1 pellet but now he's stopped eating again.

Should I give him a pea? Also he seems to be laying on the floor quite alot, any ideas?

Thanks in advance
Joe

This may sound rediculous, but maybe hes just feeling a little off?
I know you cant compare a fish to a human but maybe he just isnt hungry and wants to chill out maybe? I'd see how long this behaviour goes on and keep an eye on him for further odd behaviour.

Try upping the temps to 27/28c. 25c can be a little too cool for them sometimes and cause their immune systems to weaken thumbup

If he doesnt eat in the morning i wouldnt worry. If i was you id do a water change tomorrow and then try feed him in the evening instead of the morning. If he doesnt eat id leave him a day to wipe out his system or you could try him on bloodworm, out of every fish ive had non have been able to turn away to it onyl if theyve been very sick. goodluck!

All the best with him hon, I would go with Van's suggestion, something supremely edible to tempt those tastebuds! Do check the water params though as well Smile

Ok, He didn't eat but I'm going to get some fresh bloodworm this afternoon, I'm doing a filter clean and a water change, I've now divided the tank.

I'll put pics up later.

Thanks

When you say filter clean, only gently squeeze the filter material in the tank water you have just syphoned out. Dont clean it in tap water.
