Thanks Kizno....I did save my pennies for him lol If I managed to find a Mojave female, that pairing would produce the blue eyed leucistics that I showed you.

Beautiful babies Netty. I can't get them (or any spiders) cause Tim don't like them. He grew up down south and said he's seen enough that he don't want none! Sad That pie-bald and the blue eyed other one though... drool I had never seen white snakes before. When I was 13 I used to go over to a friends house, he owned two boa constrictors, they were huge!!! Shocked he had built tanks that wrapped around the walls, two walls per tank, and he used to have us sit down and he would drape them on us. (They were to heavey for us to hold standing at that age) It was such a great experience, They were gorgeous, huge and warmish. Just awesome! I don't even want to know how much $ he put into those two, makes my spending for my betta look like pennies! lol!

This is the most recent pic of him a couple of weeks ago. Would definately do mates rates for you Wink

Don't think I would cope with the large Boas. We did have two Brazillian Rainbow Boas but they were sold last year so we could concentrate on the geckos more.

Well she's welcome to contact both me or Van if she has any concerns Very Happy

Royal Pythons make great first snakes too as they're so laid back and easy to handle and like Van said you can pick up a normal for anywhere from £50. That's what I paid for my female.

Yup, I do believe that or your mom screaming bloody murder when she found the snake somewhere it did not belong! Be nice to the animals! rofl THAT is probably her main reason for saying no, afraid she might find it in her bed or shoes or such!

There is a risk of salmonella with all reptiles which is why good hygiene is really important. So if you're one of those teenage boys thats allergic to water, that might be why your Mum is worried lol

Not to mention the 5 yr old who puts hand in cage, then hand in mouth! Five year olds are kind of allergic to washing up too, unless it's bath time- even then I have had some arguements with my children when they were that age! tantrum pullhair

Can you find a way to put a lock on the aquarium lid? That way you can assure your mom you will only take out the snake in your room with the door locked and all other times the snake is locked in the aquarium? confused

You can get locks for vivs with the glass sliding doors. Then just make sure the key is hidden.

Put it up way high, only take it out with the door closed and locked, same with putting it up. Maybe the furthest corner, as far back as you can reach on the top shelf of the closet if you have one?
