Here are the boys in their clean tank! Im just trying to work out if I should put sand , gravel or nothing in there?

It's really up to you and whether you want pretty or ease of cleaning lol

I think its just because it looks sooo clean now which is always satisfying, and also I forgot to buy new sand :S

it depends hun - i prefer sand , 1 tank has gravel
i find sand stays clean better - especially with shrimps and mts snails
for ease of cleaning though a bare bottom is going to be easy

i think sand might look cool with the plants, i wish you could get like a grass carpet or moss floor

Yeh, I dont know what it was exactly but it was green stuff on a plastic mat thingy :D

here it is with an extra plant or two and some sand/gravel looks a bit better I think
