My cories just spawned!
I have a planted community tank with 4 sterbai cories and 3 young panda cories and my sterbai cories just spawned! they were being complete nutters in the tank and I had no idea what was going on until I saw them in a T position and I remembered hearing something about that and then I spotted eggs on the underside of an on an amazon sword plant I have.
I'm not into breeding fish so I'm not going to do anything and there's a betta in that tank so I assume the eggs will all get eaten but still that was really cool to observe.
I didn't do anything special to get them to spawn they just decided to have ago although there was a big water change day before yesterday maybe that had something to do with it. I don't know. Still really cool to see

Congrats on the spawning. I've heard that they make a T shape too. I think water changes can induce it if the water being replaced is just slightly cooler.
I've never had any luck with my cories spawning although I've now got a new groups of albinos so fingers crossed.
I can imagine your betta boy will quickly spot them but maybe one or two will make it

my corys spwan like clockwork. I think I have 1 female and 2 male albino. the little spotty colored corys hide 99% of the time so I have no idea if they spawn.
