Vacationing with Bettas Empty Vacationing with Bettas

Post by BettaBeginner Sat 30 Jul 2011 - 5:27

I am setting up my home for my betta. I moved to AZ recently and will be going back for a short visit in September. I will leave late friday and get back late Monday. Will my betta be ok? Is there anything I can do to insure that he is ok? I don't know anyone i can have come over and care for the fish. My dogs are going to a kennel that weekend.

Would love any advise possible. I can put off getting the betta, but I will have to tackle the same issue come Christmas time.

should be fine for a few days, a healthy betta 'can' last 2 weeks without food but i wouldn't suggest longer than 4 days without food
