Should I adopt him?
My dads girlfriend left and left her betta and ADF with us she does not want them. They are currently in a 1.5 gallon I have a cycled 10 gallon filter and betta food and all sorts of ADF food as I have a betta and was planning an ADF tank. I have a currently Empty ten gallon with some soft plastic plants ( they wont damage the betta or frog) which i plan to plant and has many hiding places. But I am currently The mommy to three hamsters and two fish tanks. I am wondering if I should take them on or let another home take them. And I also may be adopting mice around september. Is it fair to take on another pet? All my pets are VERY well cared for. but I dont want to get overwhelmed and let anyone slip ( which i dont think I will but better safe than sorry )
This will make me the mommy to
3 hamsters
3 mice ( maybe)
3 fish tanks.

I think you should take it. You'll give it a loving home and do right by it.

I know one more tank is just one more water change a week and one more feeding and I can handle it and will care for it if I decide to take him but Idk that i want another fish.

You could always take them on and see how it works out. If it ends up being to much you could try to find a decent home later on.

I'm going to let him be adopted out and contact the new owner and give them proper information. I can handle it but now is not the time in my life to be doing so

Sometimes you should make these decisions for your benefit rather than the
pets. If they don't have experience direct them here or to another forum.
