Blooming filter! Empty Blooming filter!

Post by Nataliey Fri 28 Jan 2011 - 21:06

Im so gutted, i noticed the tube that goes up & out the filter, the bottom bit had come off and fish could go up there...so in a panic i took the lid off and placed it back on the bottom of the tube.

Then quickly counting bettas/fish i notice that Sophie (babies mum) is missing so i looked right up the tubing and there was one of my Julii's in there flapping about but there was something in front of it stopping the Julii getting stuck any further down...i feared it would be Sophie!

So i unscrewed everything and shut off the external filter freed the Julii but my fears had come true...Sophie was the one stuck in the bend Sad

Then looking and checking further down the tube was yet another body which i think is a Julii...

Im just so gutted...the babies dont have a mum anymore Sad
