Itching for more
Man, I feel the need to set up another divided tank, just can't keep resisting bettas! I really want some new CT's but haven't seen any decent ones around me in ages, and the one I was considering in my fave LFS, some bloomin' bloke stole him just as I was about to ask for him *hmph*
I think this time of year sets off my addictions especially after being in an LFS today, they had bettas in with angels and humphead glassfish so the poor boys were all tattered, and they wouldn't listen to me on that issue OR that one of the "males" they were trying to sell for £20 was actually a cello PK girl
PS. Jess - get those CT's nice and big for me, I *neeeeeeeeeed* some babies

Somebody hasn't been going to their Betta's anonymous meetings have they? That's OK they've been canceled due to poor attendance.

Lou, I'm the same. I'm now sick of the 6gal divided tank and was looking in a LPS to see if they had any reasonably priced 3gal tanks with lights etc. because I'm thinking that's the route I might go down next!

Re: Itching for more
LOL, I'll do my best Lou :-) Don't use up all your spaces just yet!!!! I have another one in the community CT fry tank who is now bigger than Titan AND Spike Jr..it seems when I take one out of there, a new one grows bigger to take it's place!!!!
I know what you mean about itching for more, and males are such a pain as you have to have somewhere for them already so impulse buying is hard..at least with the girlies you can pop them right in the sorority. I'm planning on a bigger divided tank with room for 8 - 10 males, but ££...SIGH!
Lis, I tried looking for a well priced 3gal lit tank..man everything is so expensive! So I got a few bits from eBay. The niced 15L lit tank I found were the nano tanks, like the Aqua-Qube 15 ...sooo nice looking, but RRP is £50!!! You could get a tank twice as big for the same price, it's such a rip!

I might check in Pets At Home on Thursday evening on my way home but I doubt I'll find anything, reasonable, especially with Xmas around the corner.

Re: Itching for more
Pets at Home do a quite nice Aqua-Box, it's 17L. The only prob with it is the filter is too strong, so you may want to use a Fluval Mini or a sponge filter or something like that. It's £30 including the light and it has a drawer build into the stand you can put the fish stuff in. There's a pic of mine over on my CT breeding diary as I'm using it for Spike Jr and Titan at the mo.
Hope you find something nice hun. I hope everyone prepares themselves for lots of CT young'uns in the next two months LOL :-D

Re: Itching for more
If I do find a nice smaller one its going to be for a really handsome betta. I'll just use the 6gal until I no longer need to, without sounding mean about it all.
I must check for that wee tank on Thursday evening. Thanks pet!

Deary me. Came home with 2 though on closer inspection away from the initial excitement, the CT seems to have an oddly shaped mouth the DT is looking lovely though.
