Our new rabbit for our daughter

She is an attempt at Pet Therapy to see if I can teach my daughter about looking after others etc as she has either Autism or learning difficulties.

carrott! DSC_0154

She is an 8 week old netherland dwarf and is so friendly.

She does however find it amusing to chase the chickens out of the run - I had plans of keeping the chickens in there til they were bigger - but Carrott charges at them to make them escape - which makes putting the chickens to bed at night rather difficult as I have a large garden and a VERY quick chicken!

Aw Carrott is a lovely rabbit, i had 2 netherland dwarf rabbits when i was younger. Great name btw. Little Carrott chasing chickens thats quite amusing for me can just imagine as my 2 rabbits used to chase my mum's cats when they where let out in the house!

ah bless! what a cutie! Smile

House rabbits become very tame, and act like pet cats or dogs. Thats a possibility you could look into. So all it would need is a food and water bowl along with a litter tray as they can be toilet trained! Smile

She is virtually trained anyway - when she is in the house she only uses under my one table - and I just hoover the poop up lol

I couldnt house train her though - I have 4 cats who love to pad her bum lol
