I know! I want one, it's illegal to descent them here in the UK though, unless you can get hold of an older one that has already been descented before they passed the law. Or, you can have a trip over to the netherlands and pick one up from a breeder for about £100.
There so cute how they just bumble around and eat <3

Re: Mummy's little helper
You need one. So do I...a friend used to live in spain and he had a pet skunk, made a little set of stairs so that it could climb onto his bed in the morning. As far as I know, they act like dogs, due to the domestication.

There's quite a few members on RFUK that have them. I sometimes trawl through the picture gallery to look at them all

Re: Mummy's little helper
Oh wow really, now I have to look.
I've always been very interested in animals, and have had everything from hamsters, rats, terrapins, dogs, cats, budgies, etc
But getting beardies has opened up so much more, so difficult to say no. Thankfully I don't want to make my parents mad by bringing home more animals, so

Found the Skunk cuddles thread, want one *whines* My OH is addicted and has wanted one for years, so when we move in next year, we're gonna get a skunky (instead of the usual couple thing of getting a dog :P)

Re: Mummy's little helper
Yeh. they're adorable, looks like they have a really great home too.
See, this is why I'm doing Zoology in September :D (plus, part time first year, so more time for fishies and beardies and other lovely creatures)

A little naivety doesn't hurt and if the passion is there then what better way to direct it.
You might not be able to save everything but even one thing is a result
