Hooded Rat Empty Hooded Rat

Hey guys,

I'm wanting to get a hooded rat this summer but I want to do a little more homework first Smile. Could you guys tell a little bit about your current and/or past experiences with them, your likes and dislikes and anything special I need to know before I get one. Thanks for reading Smile

I did have Rats but it was sooooo long ago. They were very sweet natured and very responsive when I went to them with treats.

I think the best thing would be to check out a Rat Forum like this one and browse through all the posts about care, behaviour etc. Hooded Rat Icon_biggrin

I love rats, we have had about 4, first one was stroppy and couldnt be handled next 3 were delightful. Only downside they dont live that long!
