do you think this wood will be ok to go in my tank?
there was a few bits of bark left on but they where really flacky and just fell of when you touched it. i sanded it off and will soak it and boil it before i put it in my tank.

this is what it was like when i found it
wood Dsc00211p
wood Dsc00212l

and this is what its like now
wood Dsc00209cq
wood Dsc00215z

this is one bit after it was done next to one of the bits that hadnt been sanded
wood Dsc00213v

i really hope this can go in my tank it took me about 2 hours to do the 4 bits
:D

wow youve made them look really good! I think they'd be fine in an aquarium, but i'd leave them in warm water for a week to get off any bugs or bad chemicals they may give off.
Good Work! :D

looks like beech, i use that a lot on my tanks with no problems, they should sink fairly quickly too...

now is the best time to collect beech and oak leaves for you tank too... much cheaper and just as good as those expensive almonds Smile
