We have fry!!!!!
It is ALLLL happening this week, what with finding three random fry in the 10g that could be lamp fry or cloud minnow fry, gobies eating my lamps and said gobies and now... eggs! These dont seem snail eggs (we know what they look like with the epidemic going on at the moment) and so have a choice of...gobies (NO!) perhaps lamps though these seem to have been laid today when we were out and lamps moved by then, cories (only added yesterday), gouramis (but we think both girls and they bubblenest) or glass catfish (they are still too shy!). I am being kept busy!

Re: We have fry!!!!!
my corys lay eggs every water change, the bettas follow behind eating them.
the trick is to wait about 5 min till they set then either remove the plant they are laid or or pick them up with a rolling motion and put them in a container. if its at all possibe keep the eggs under waer the whole time. and cory eggs go fuzzy very quick, so an airstone in the spawining tank helps I have heard. they can eat the same things as freshly hatched bettas.

Re: We have fry!!!!!
Thanks guys, thanks Newfishy. I removed them pretty successfully, quick glance this morning still looking good, have the elite running current directly over them but out to get a airstone to go with my pump as worried if I do end up with fry they will end up in the filter. One site says 2-4 day hatching, so will keep vigilant!

Re: We have fry!!!!!
Thanks hon, well I added a bubblewand as this is better than the filter but OH NO! Most the eggs floated away doh. So currently two on the glass, two on a leave in the tank, tried to stick the fallen back but they wont now, there are also a couple in the main tank and we shall see what happens, if not hopefully they will spawn again this wont be a one chance.

Re: We have fry!!!!!
i would say they are Corydoras similis - i have some and they look the same as yours
Dont worry about the eggs floating around thats fine - i add my eggs to one of the small betta holding tubs (from Daz) and add an airstone - the eggs always float around like crazy but i'd say i get about 75% hatch rate
If you can increase the water temp to 28 degrees they'll hatch quicker
need any help give me a shout hun - i'm not too bad on corys - have lots of different types and have bred quite a few of them
