HELP! Baby fish!!!!
Help! I have just found two teeny fry and it turns out my lamps have bred! I moved the lamps from the 10gallon two weeks ago and just now found 2 iddy biddy lamp fry, not sure where they came from or how they have been surviving but what do I do?! They are in with a lone betta who has been poorly lately and had a lot of meds (so very surprised these two have survived!) Moved them currently to a small 3g of their own with just heater and crushed some flake but what else can I do? Don't think I have anything to feed them on only flake, brine flake, frozen mysis shrimp... I know I may lose them but really want to try as these are my first fry ever!

Just rang Daz (sorry you are best fish person I know locally and know yiour number!) and it is possible they are cloud minnow fry that came in as eggs on the plants. Either or will try super crushed flake for now!

Re: HELP! Baby fish!!!!
icky babies.....lovely. I removed a female molly as she was being bullied, and she had 12 babies so I put her back in the tank. Looked after the babies fed them liquid food, then decided they were big enuff to go back into the main tank. On closer inspection there was about 4 fry already in there the same size... :computerlaugh:

lol! I would try hikari first bites, I found liquifry was a bit pointless (just my experience with bettas might not be the same with wcmm) my baby bettas always hog newly hatched bbs you can buy decapsulated eggs from aqualife
