Got a bristlenose and holding for somebody (you know who you are). Acclimating to temperature at the moment, which tank, one third compartment in the betta tank with gravel and plants OR 5g empty empty tank? Quick advice needed thanks x

aslong as there are both cycled any, gravel may not be to good, it might eat it accidentley, so the empty 5g. Smile

yeh, how long are you keeping it for, i had a common pleco, yes common, lfs said it takes them agggeeesss to grow big, stupid me i believed her...lol Very messy, so i gave him back.

I think you shouls still do daily water changes of 15%

EDIT: typo 15% not 75 lol,, dats too much!

I am keeping for Melly until next week, will do daily changes. It hasnt bristles but comparing to babies on google should be what she is after! Ok to keep bare? Thanks betta_246 for all the help x

well, yeah i sppose, but it would be fab if you can give it a cave or something, even like a plastic bottle cut like a cave, oh n if you have a spawning mop, you can add that.

Oh no not corrected, me and me parnter are just guessing (and hoping) this little guy is the right one, hopefully those other people havent just breed commons! :D hmmmm now I should see what a albino common looks like...

I had a common, " grows really slowly" my LFS said. Pffttt...i gave him back, way too messy for my 65l community.

that's a true albino bristlenose, female as no bristles.
They won't eat gravel, they aint that supid. That's a very good albino bristlenose.

No problem I don't plan on breeding and they are in seperate tanks so sex doesn't matter. Just can't believe I'm finally going to have albinos!!!!!!
