idea for temporary tank Empty idea for temporary tank

As most of you will know from my near-constant squealings, I have fallen in love with two of the girls on Daz's site.

However, I don't have my 14 gallon divided sorted yet (it's got my friend's RTBS in there atm, and she needs all the space). I do, however, have a 4.5 gallon QT.

Would it be OK to divide that and put the two girls in there for a couple of weeks? Or even take Oz out of my 13 gallon community and pop the two girls in there together? Would a small group be OK with other fish, or do they always need to be in larger groups, no matter what other fish they are with? I could even think about moving the shark back into the QT, but she's not that happy in there. Just sulks under the bog-wood all day.

Ideas?

LOL....I think we're all guilty of squealing at one time or other!!!

If it's only going to be for a couple of weeks then the 4.5gal divided would be fine and safer for them. It's always better to have a minimum group of 4 girls together even in a community tank of other fish thumbup
