I've been naughty...

I was in a fish shop today and .... well.... I have a bit of a thing for crowntails. And there was this one crowntail (which you never EVER see in my LFS).... and he was all black and red (which is my favourite Betta colours... apart from Zeus of course).... and he was 3 quid.... Yeah you all know where this ended. Zeus's tank has now been split in two and I am the very proud mummy of Triskel the crowntail :D Now I really shouldn't have done this as the tank is only 28L but first thing tomorrow I will go and get another and will pop my already cycled emergency sponge filter in it (I keep it cycled in another tank incase I ever need to use the hospital tank). Pics to follow shortly as soon as OH gets here to make the technological magic happen :D

On another random note we have a new 85L tank in which we have filled the filter with old filter media from our other tanks and so hurray hurray it was instantly cycled :D We decided on Thursday to pop 2 female guppies in to keep it ticking over and come yesterday afternoon when I got in from work.... BABIES!!!! I knew she was pregnant but I didn't think she was that far gone!! I've never had fishy babies before (or anyothers for that matter haha) so I've been bouncing around calling OH Grandad :D So heres a happy birthda to my 19 baby guppies and a welcome home to Triskel the Betta :cheers:

Piccies please......he sounds gorgeous and I love his name Triskel It's always when you least expect it that you find these little treasures and just have to get them lol

too on your guppy babies Granny :lol!:

If you can get pics of your babies make sure to pop them in the other fish section....would be great to see them :cheers:

Here are a few pics of my new baby! I think he must be very young. He had stress stripes when we first put him in the tank and he is half the size of Zeus!

Quad ray is a quite desired tail type....most Cts you see usually have double rays!!!

We actually got Riot from Daz early last year.

Riot is/was gorgeous remind me I need to stop buying as many rescues and get a real stunner!!!!!!
