Ready to ambush the postman

I have 3 new males from ebay and 9 lovely ladies from Modaz arriving tomorrow morning
My only problem is my usual postie is off on hols --- WHAT A CHEEK !!!!
With my Ms i cant get to the door very quickly but my normal postie is wonderful and will wait ages for me to answer the door if he sees the car there and hears me shouting i'm on my way lol - he even comes back before he goes home if i've had to go out - docs or something else important

So now i've had to devise a plan
1. I'm keeping the window open from when i get up - so i can hear the van pulling in the close
2. stationing Mack or Lacy by the window to keep watch - if i have to have a wee or anything
3. Have informed upstairs neighbour if she sees him arrive and try to drive off before i can answer the door to attack him - well tell him i have problems getting to the door
4. Getting hubby to put a kitchen chair in the hallway so i dont have to go far - really uncomforatable so cant sit on it for long periods but will stand it as long as i can
5. My last hope if all this fails is a good friend of mine lives in a house near the roundabout at the bottom of the close so if she sees the van drive past she's going to ask him if he delivered a package and if he didnt to try again cos i'm disabled and cant get up quick ---- going to message her as soon as they arrive
I just hope the fishies dont arrive at 1pm lol - be nice to have them early

What about popping a little note on the door :lol!:

tried that once and wouldn't do it again wrong sort of people read it

What about putting it in an enveloped marked for the Postie!!!

Awww Pip my postmans like that too I don't have MS just I sleep till about Midday LMAO as can't sleep till about 4am. He bangs and bangs and shouts me LOL and if I miss him he comes back bless him.

I hate it when he goes on holiday:( But I'm sure you have everything covered and hopefully you will recieve them safe and sound :D

then getting the kids shouting through the window at him the neighbour running out the front door and then as he drives off thinking we're all nuts a crazed woman jumps in front of the van as he's trying to escape

he'd never cover this round again
