Rusty and Squeak Empty Rusty and Squeak

Post by liz2 Mon 27 Jul 2009 - 21:17

I had 2 piggies until about 6 weeks ago when the grey one Squeak died. He had a urine infection about 6 months before and was on antibiotics and it cleared up. He died really quickly and very peacefully. Unfortunately Rusty the survivor has always been the skittish one, but he is getting lots of extra cuddles and treats and is OK. I didnt even put him in guinea pigs kennels when we went away for a week, he stayed with my sister and she had him in the front room near the tele and cleaned him out every day and picked him dandelions as well. Talk about spoiled. As you can guess Rusty is the one underneath.

So sorry you lost Squeak......he look adorable and so fluffy

Hope Rusty is pining too much for his buddy. Would he get on with another one if you were to get another?

thanks, Rusty is just turned 4 so I dont think he would take kindly to another male piggie. They took about a week to get used to each other originally and they were babies but not from same litter. They had to have olbas oil on them every day! (ha ha thats got you wondering!)
