I've got lots of jars for my babies but my mate down the end of the road said he can make me something like this but bigger sections

What size section would be minimum for housing baby boys - would be nice to keep them in the main tank so they have nice clean filtered water all the time with no temp fluctuations

cheers sarah

Look for around 5/6 inches long x 4/5 inches deep.

The only thing is, I have heard that the ones you have linked too have a slight danger. I have heard that the suction cups have slipped meaning container has slipped under water. The lid has stuck on and the betta basically drowned. Worth bearing in mind.

the ones my mates on about making will have wire hinges on to hook over the outside of the tank and also use the suckers on the inside
i would hate any of the to drown

cos the suction things from ebay are

12.6" width
3.9" deep
2.4" long

So i'm thinking if he did mine as below would that be suitable

16" wide (4" for each bettas)
4" deep
3" long
