This our 10 year old cat Taz. We got her about 3 months ago from a rescue and she was what you might call 'difficult'. Whilst she still isn't the most cuddly of cats she has come on in leaps and bounds and we love our furbaby to bits :D

Taz 'helping' me study...

And the very first day she came out from under the bed to say hello I love you

Wow she is so beautiful! and good for you for rescuing her thats great! Smile my cat was an accident, a friends yard cat got pregnant and I said Id only have one if it was plain white with a pink nose - tried to think of the most difficult thing a black moggy could give birth to! and low and behold if she didnt manage to have a pure white kitten with pink nose! So we now have Chloe!

Taz is a gorgeous girl I love you It must have been quite scary for her at first but I'm sure with lots of TLC she'll soon trust you more and give you cuddles. I think it's great that you rescued an older cat.....they so often get passed over for the kittens!!!!

Ahh! What a pretty thing! And you broke the all white/black trend going with the cats! Smile

I know if we ever get another cat it will be an older one, they do so often get looked over and usually they have such winning personalities! :D

Awww she is a sweetie. :D We rescued Simba and his brother Max as older cats. Sadly Max got Cancer and passed away 3 months ago. But Simba is still in good health and still a grumpy old man LOL. I totally agree they are so rewarding. Ours lived on top of the kitchen cupbaords for 6 months and refused to come down except to eat and go to the toilet lol. But they soon got used to us lol.

Aw thank guys Smile I'm so sorry to hear about Max Sad Adopting her has honestly been one of the most rewarding things i've ever done and I would gladly do it again. Hehe bless, on top of the kitchen cupboards! She ended up with stress induced cystitis which was what made her venture out. She tends to be very cuddly when she's ill apparently. It was heartbreaking though Sad Touch wood she seems settled now though.

Awwww bless her. Older cats are harder to settle down but they get there in the end and it's so rewarding. The stress for them can be horrible to watch though.

She is. we spoil her rotten. Even when she wakes me up at 4 in the morning. Just hoping that the antibiotics kick in soon. Thanks!
