Are these ok to photograph males in
Just wondering wether these are ok to photograph betta in - not keep them in
it would stand in my 300 litre tank

Dont see why not if need to get pics. May stress the males out a bit, but then again they are hard to catch sometimes.

They do get stressed for while but if you leave them quiet for a couple of hours first before trying to get the pics, then they should colour back up.
Another idea for a good cube to take pics in......not sure if you remember the old style square photocubes that you can put pics in each side of. They are nice and square and are ideal for using to take pics of your fish in

trouble is dont know where to get hold of the photo cubes hun will have a look i was thinking of looking for a couple of 2-3" square vases - i've seen them on ebay

The trouble sometimes with the vases is that they don't alwasy have very straight edges, so will distort the fish if he gets too near the sides.

That container from your first post is excellent for getting the pictures! It's contained enough where they can't swim out of sight but enough space to put two males next to each other and they can flare away. I love it for photos!!

You could just send them photos of your fish and it'll come with your fish already in it lol
