Everytime I see a picture of peoples Bettas bubblenests they are like compact in one piece as such. Now Ero's just seems to create a mess like bits of bubbles all over the top of the tank. Have I just got a messy fish? I mean he likes to destroy plants etc too lol!

He spends a lot of time blowing bubbles and then I feel bad when I do the weekly water change that his bubbles are gone. I mean if it was a proper nest I'd probably try to scoop it out and then put it back lol.

LOL he sounds like a right monster :D Some of our guys were a bit like that, bubble here bubble there. Dont worry about destroying the nest though, as it will keep him occupied re-building it :D

He certainly has an attitude on him lol! Doesn't like red plants doesn't like his photo being taken etc etc LOL.

Phew so he isn't alone LOL. Well at least it keeps him busy :lol!:

Even the well grouped nests can be different. Some will make single layer nests and other make lovely big thick frothy ones.

Eros....sounds like he's such a character ......he's a bit of a bad boy lol!

I had the same with a male recently. In the spawning tank his nest was tiny. When he went back into his normal tank within 24hrs he'd built a huge nest :lol!:
