Am i right in thinking a combtail is the same as a half sun and can arrise from the crowntail hm cross

triple tail , fusetail and fusefin and heart tail does anyone keep them

A combtail......will have ray extensions like a CT but alot shorter so would have a higher percentage of webbing length in the fins.

Most of the others would be considered to be genetic deformities but then sold as a tail type....which really IMO they aren't.

so a half sun and comb tail are similar but not the same tail type then

Thats correct:) The Combtail will have extensions passed the webbing of around 5-10mm. The Halfsun will have more extensions, but only of about 2mm past the webbing.

I have seen a betta where the dorsal, caudal and anal fins have been joined, but its not by design, its by fault.
