Bargaining Empty Bargaining

Post by crystal Wed 15 Jul 2009 - 11:52

Well i have been bargaining with hubby over money and fish! He has just bought himself two cars spending £850 sooooo i have told him that it's fine as long as i can spend the same amount of my fish. He's desperately trying to keep me sweet over the cars so i'm expecting several new tanks and fish over the coming weeks, plus my new shed which i still haven't decided on a size!!!

This is true however hubby wants a marine tank so just on that principle i won't get one, plus i'm only allowed £20 here and there, he's not silly enough to let me lose with that much in one go :lol!: I want to use it towards the bettas as i've got about 100 babies from tarquins spawn at the mo and am planning to set up a drip system once the shed goes up. Does anyone know if there is a size limit on sheds before you need planning permission?

There probably is an upper limit to the size of sheds, but i believe its more to do with whether its classed as a permanent structure. i.e. does it have a concrete base or something like railway sleepers.

if its made from concrete blocks its classed a permernant structure and would need planning permission where as a wooden shed or even the aluminium sheds u dont as u can take em down pretty easily

Oh no, not spiders yuk!!! Offer him lots of rudies if he does but don't keep to it, just make an excuse once he's done it! We've already got a brick shed but it's tiny and full up with crap!

My reasoning was that the house wouldn't be filled with tanks.. it still is, but at least not as many! And I had nowhere to put all the cultures, baby containers, other supplies.. so, had to be done!
