hi,
my thermometer reading is 82 f
my heater is on 79 f
is this to warm for my betta?

no thats still ok. for those that live in hot places during the summer with no ac all you can do is keep the tank lights off and make sure the tanks in the shade. if the temp gets super out of control you can do small partical cool water changes to bring the temp down. but youd have to keep on top of those because the temp can rise again pretty quick.

My heaters have been turned off for about 2 weeks now,just turned them back on last night as the temp had dropped down to about 25 and was looking to go cooler. Wink
