Hi, I'm Happy to be Here. Empty Hi, I'm Happy to be Here.

Hello. I'm new here. I have a red and black male betta, named Sweeney Todd. I also have a variety of other pets, including a dog, cats, rats, a mouse, African dwarf frogs, an African side neck turtle, and some neon tetras.

I've been keeping bettas for a while now, (five or six years), but only one at a time. Sweeney Todd is in a 2 1/2 gal. kritter keeper tank and seems very happy, although I'd like him in something larger.

I'm very devoted to all the animals in my care. It drives me nuts that so many people just see fish as living decorations. I thought it'd be nice to join a forum where other people are devoted and truly love their fish. I'm excited to be here.

I can't stand feeling like I can do better for one of the animals in my care and not doing it. The same day I wrote that, Sweeney Todd was moved to a five gallon tank. The 2 1/2 or 3 Gal. wasn't quite good enough in my opinion.
