New Snakeys Empty New Snakeys

Hello

Got two new snakes last week. They are Albino Checkered garter snakes Very Happy They're only about 4-6 weeks old and are tiny Shocked They are around 10cm long and one weighs 2.6 grams, whilst the other only 1.6 grams Shocked

WOW im even more speechless. They look absolutely stunning. It still amazes me that snakes that small take pinkies they look to small.

They don't take Pinkies yet. They are fed on finely chopped Cod, Salmon and earthworm. I'll be introducing them to Pinky parts soon lol
They don't get huge either. Adult males around 2ft Very Happy

Oh fair enough. but it still amazes me small snakes take pinkies lol.Thats quite small. Do the females get bigger?

Haha You better hope netty dont see that. Thats quite a big differece. What size viv are they going in? Can you tell sexes yet?

She's in the bath lol

Fully grown they can both go into a 3ft viv. Garters can be housed together if you separate at feeding time and are not both males.

Not sure of their sex yet, but will find out soon.

They are fairly common really. Can be a tad expensive from some places though. These cost me less than £20 lol (trade price for me), but you can normally find them for around £30 each.
