Waiting and worrying!
My new boy is arriving tomorrow morning, a gorgeous royal blue and yellow rosetail... knowing he's in the post being moved about overnight is making me so worried I hope he's ok, especially after the state of the box my last betta came in - Ed was just fine but Royal Mail had definitely not handled him with care!
Arghhh. Worry.

Re: Waiting and worrying!
No name ideas yet, I'm going to wait until he's here before I think of any
Will get some pictures tomorrow evening! He's going into a small tank on his own temporarily, until my divided tank is finished (blooming ebay materials have not all arrived yet!)

Still no sign of him trust Royal Mail... usually they come at 7.30am and I have to go to the sorting office to pick stuff up because the doorbell didn't wake me, now on the one occasion I'm actually up (barely slept a wink) they probably won't get here til lunchtime... grr.

He's here! Yay!
Will post pictures later once he's settled in, he is currently floating in the tank in his bag of IAL tea.

Re: Waiting and worrying!
I'm going to wait til later to take any, he's a little under the weather. Upon closer inspection he'd sustained a little injury to his gill in transit, a small wound at the top of the gill like he's caught or pulled it somehow. He's ok though and has had some little scraps of bloodworm
It will just be a case of some salt, clean water, and keeping an eye on it to make sure no secondary infections set in.

Re: Waiting and worrying!
Good idea, just keep him super clean and keep his light off if his tank has lighting to keep stress to a minimum, looking forward to seeing him!

Re: Waiting and worrying!
He looks like your Pluto did but with more blue on his fins
Currently he is residing amongst the anubias in the dark, having gorged on bloodworms.
