flaring?

hi,
me again!
can anyone tell me is it only males that flare?
and does it mean they are unhsppy if they dont?
my champ he has never flared,
yet my sis one he does it all the time and bubble nests scratch

Nope girls flare too! I have one males who is very happy and healthy (I think, if only they coud talk lol) That i've only ever seen flare once and another who flares at everything including the at. Likewise I have girls i've never seen flare and some who do it constantly!

Yep, as Cherry says, not all males flare....woosies lol Some females have huge flares :shock: The difference being the female wont have the full beard right the way underneath.
