bought a bag of water cress today and I was wondering if you can put it in fish tanks? Used to have some in the pond....any thoughts?

Is water cress something you could feed bettas, or best to avoid? Never heard it mentioned before.

Re: water cress
i had an attempt wtih water cress too
bettas weren't fussed either way on it but it did seem to need the leaves on the surface to not die ( this was indoor experiment btw)
bettas didn't eat it, but I couldn't get the stem length for full in tank growing.. leaves under surface it died... full plant bulb then might be diff though
