Is this the 60gal from your other post? Definatly not angels then... they will eat your neons (and I'm suprised the neons aren't nipping your male but if they aren't then grand).

I wouldnt, Id just get more females. because what if you get lucky and get 2 males or a breeding pair who goes nuts over everyone getting near their nest?

hi storm.. this a few of my girls.. not quite a community tank but it's got Roger!!!

He's a betta abantiodes(prop mispelt)mouth brooder but he's brilliant for keeping females in line but add a bit of difference lol

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Roger in coconut... blk hmpk in flowerpot, white hm behind and if you make out the blue bit in plant behind her is blue ct he keeps them well in line but uninterested in splendens... they just see him as big!

i'll nab a pic of them when they aren't all asleep but he atleast 2-3 times their size but a gentle giant

Personally, i think that adding Honeys to a tank conatining female betta is a mistake. The honey gourami is a very timid member of that family and should be kept with smaller peaceful fish, which female betta aren't.

Without sounding rude to you, if you're going to ask for advice and then ignore it anyway, whats the point in asking? Its just that when people take the time to give advice to someone, which is then ignored, they may not bother giving any advice again. I've seen that happen many times on other forums.

I thought the male had been seperated off? As i said right back in your other thread, keeping male and females bettas in a 60L is going to lead to permanent stress for the fish concerned. It would take about 2 minutes for the male betta to destroy the gouramis if he chooses to do so, thats if the females dont get there first.

Can i ask if the lfs is aware of the fish you have and whether they said they would all be ok? If they did, then unfortunately their not very knowledgeable.

The male is now sepreated, due to the fact that i think one of the females is a young male.
