My Border Terriers
Time to get these pics up of my two blue boys (blue & tans) Milo is Dad to Badger
Will start with Milo (aka Smiley or Tourettes boy)
Best of Breed when he was 18months old
His first First place at an agility comp
Action Shot
Loves his ice creams in the summer lol
And now my little baby boy Badger
Action Shot
Pics from Crufts
A family shot Milo at the bottom and son Ted in the middle and Badger at the top. Unfortunately the family who had Ted didn't want him anymore when he was 11 months old so we took him back and found him a great home with a couple that do agility with him and their other border.

Re: My Border Terriers
They are great around kids Newfishy. The lady who owns Badgers Mum Poppy has her and also kept Badger's sister Daisy. She has a 2yr old and they are very protective of her. She said before Anna was born they always ran ahead on walks but now they stay by the pram.
Alot of our pups have gone to homes with young children with no problems. Obviously with any dog, they and the children need to be supervised and as you probably know.....puppy teeth are very sharp lol

Re: My Border Terriers
They are a good size....not at all like your little fluffy types that guys would be embarrassed to walk :lol!:
They are also one of the healthiest breeds. In last years health report:
The first cause of death in borders is cancer, 2nd is old age and 3rd was death by misadventure lol

Gosh, take it feeding time takes a while? And how on earth do you walk 6 dogs all at the one time??
Hats off to you! (need smiley for that)

Re: My Border Terriers
Lol....well they don't get lead walks unless it's just a couple of them. Usually drive up the field in the van and just open the back and let them out. There is an undeveloped area near us and we can walk with them round 2 or 3 connecting fields. The boys normally disappear into the hedges looking for rabbits lol But our oldest Rusty is 15 now so he doesn't walk so far anymore.
In all honesty the fish take up more time than the other animals :lol!:

Re: My Border Terriers
Time to start filling it up I think. We used to have a dwarf rabbit too.......the most evil rabbit I've ever known.....used to have to put gardening gloves on to feed or handle it :lol!: Then got a dutch and he was the sweetest little guy....and lived until he was 8yrs old. Would quite often run around the kitchen chasing the cats lol

Re: My Border Terriers
Yep, Nethies are not nice rabbits :lol!: My wee boy is well warned to stay away. Cute, and seem the ideal childs rabbit but the bigger English breeds are the best for kids. We call her a "posh" rabbit, she came with a pedigree and everything from the breeder LOL, so she's even more stuck up in our minds.
