Its been highly recommended that I add some tank mates to my 10gl. tank. I have 1 fair sized pepper cory &
two neons to go along with a male c/t. I kinda thought the fewer the better. Once again I misinformed myself!
I do like & almost bought two dwarf frogs the other day. Especially since I have more than enough frozen bloodworms.

Since tetras are schooling fish, I'd buy at least 3 more, ideally 5 more. The neons will be much happier and that would put your tank at just the right bio-load, I think. Since bettas tend to stay near the top and tetras tend to stay in the middle, they shouldn't butt heads too much (except maybe at feeding time).

Thanks Pumpkin! Actually I originally bought ten + five the next day. 13 died off in a week. No wonder they were half off! I lost the receipt on top of it.

1 betta
6 neon tetra or swap them for 8 galaxy rasbora
and swap the pepper cory for 5 panda cory or 6-8 pygmy corys.

I'll look into and over your suggestions. The tank should be a little busier. I'll have to keep the peppered cory for the time being until a manage to aquire more tanks. He's my only success of late .lol! Can I mix with other corys or do they have human traits?

Different types of cory will be fine together. Ive kept peppers, pandas and pygmy all in the same tank and peppers get to about 2" pandas about 1" and pygmys about 2cm and they all got along fine.

Thats good. Yo wouldnt be able to keep many of the fish i recommended to you in a 20G most get big and neew more area that a 30G but you can still have nice fish in a 30G
I would go for something like
1 Trio of apisto 1 male 2 female
pair of bns 1 male 1 female
8 corys
8 tetra or rasbora
8 hatchets
aslong as you have good filtration. You want something that does between 1000lph and 1200lph would be perfect but higher will be fine aswell unless its to extreme.
