I got it from a garden centre-esque lfs, but also saw it in my local MA, but with no name D:

I don't think so. Mine has been in my soroity which has just 2 25w bulbs in it, and has spread nicely. I think it may need a LITTLE more light than it has, as the roots have recently become very short, but otherwise seems to be doing well.

Hmmm i would have said Salvinia natans, i had it in my divived male betta tank, it died
