Thinking of giving up!

Chihiro has just died tonight by the bullies (females) in her tank, she had a big chunk taken out of her tummy! I think its angel the white one as when i watch her shes bullying 2 of the others in there (the smaller females) there's another female in there that shes not bullying.
Iv also noticed when i got her on sunday she was slim but today her tummy has really got big, she wouldnt be carrying eggs would she?? Shes not showing any lines to show she wants to breed but im not sure if i would see them anyway as she is completely white. She seems to be flaring a lot at the females shes picking on but not the red female (Sen) she wouldnt mistake Sen as a male would she??
Maybe im reading all the wrong signs but i noticed when i first bought Chihiro and Sen together, Sen had no signs of stress but little Chihiro did for quite sometime so thats why i had to separate them as they where not getting on at all.
Im fed up of things going wrong!

Are you sure one of your girls isn't a boy? Easily done, some males look very feminine! The eggy girl is white so you wouldnt see the breeding bars I don't think. It might not be eggs, maybe she's consitpated or has stuffed herself too much?

Sorry to hear your girl was attacked like that though generally a bigger number of girls works better as the aggression can be spread out more.

I think they are all female they look female but i suppose time will tell, had my suspisions about Sen but i think shes a girl. Today Angel the white female still looks rather big but not as big as yesterday, so might have pooped! I dont fed them a lot just a couple of pellets a day.
There where 5 females together now there are just 4.

if you want to put pictures up of your females we can have a look for you to see if there are any males? Ive never heard of an attack that vicious before, rest assured that is quite rare, sure there is squabbling but not usually anything that severe. Although you do come across the odd female who is particularly angry and need to have their own space

Females can egg up without males or breeding stripes

I have had major issues with PKs which the White one seems to be. They always seem much nastier than the others so I no longer keep them

Nothing to base this on, but that first white one looks like a boy to me. Maybe it's just cos i've never seen a female like that for sale in an lfs and i'm jealous lmao

white girl (pk from hmpk lines).. def a girl

sen.. the white spot visible in first pic right behind ventrals (long fins under head) I can't see it in second one.. have a look if it's there or just a bit on the glass.

sen is def pk/vt cross, and should be female.. has the boy pk anal tail shape although very short as a girls should be but stomach looks fat like a juvenile who's been well fed regardless of sex

if you look closer at the stomach stretch it's not round but an elongated oval, first pic shows it most.. kinda a paler area under the scales behind the pectoral fins.... sen should be female and that's the egg sac.

blue marble girl in that pic looks like she's poss from mainly hm lines, pic not easiest to see but she has the hm min branching atleast and the straight edges to the caudal. Def female btw

No they cant see Haku his tank is other side of kitchen. Sen does have a white spot like the others so i guess shes a female just looks a lot bigger than the others underneath.
Blue female is very very chewed up so cant wait for her fins and tail to grow back (my females not chewed her up like that when bought her, but wanted her as i love her colours!)
Silvia is similar to the blue girl in size but extremely shy...getting more plants to put in there tank so more places for the shy girls to hide.

plants should help and hopefully they'll start to settle down soon for you hun
